Taiko goofs, take 3

After-easter days bring to this site more funny situation generated by programming mistakes! On our next stop, there is the Wii universe; some of those bugs affect all the three Taiko chapters!



The most common issue is the delayed activation of Go-Go Time in several Taiko songs, and this also affects the scoring of the parts "ripped away" from Kiai Time. If you don't believe me, just look at this execution of Metal Police and then compare it with this one, coming from Taiko 13. Have you seen any differences?



This video, reported by Yusri Khairi, highlights another cryptic aspect of the three Wii games, and this time about NN plays. If the player manages to fail a song without making mistakes (and so featuring lots and lots of 可), the game will consider anyway the song as normally cleared, without errors. The video features Rotter Tarmination Ura on the 2nd Wii game, but the trick works for nearby all the 9 and 10-star songs!



For the last pick, here's a magic trick for the 3rd Wii game: in the Song Selection menu, by moving really fast the cursor between Random Song and Joubutsu 2000 (or anyway the closest Namco Original song to it), something odd will happen on the background...
