From the story mode, known as Portable Shrine Battle of the Land (全国おみこしバトル), which is every bit as over-the-top as it sounds.

Looks like PS2 style minigames are a thing of the past now, no matter what console Taiko goes on.

Next, the costumes menu. A bit clunky compared to the touch controls on DS, but definitely works. A Monster Hunter costume too.
Lastly, multiplayer, which has been brought up to date with all the modes we knew back from DS1 onwards.
