The latest set of Taiko no Tatsujin sound-producing capsule toys are out, and tetsutaro managed to grab one of them and take some pictures! Let's see it. It's Kat-chan!
Kat-chan makes the noise you get when you hit the rim of the Taiko (the in-game sound). The above video shows how it works.
As for the rest, there are a total of five in the series, with Don making the usual don sound, the pink Lovely Don playing a soundbyte from Alps Ichiman Shaku (Yankee Doodle), the green Forest Don playing Mori no Kumasan, and the Golden one playing Clarinet o Kowashichata (a very old Choldren/Folk song that hasn't been seen since the PS2 days).
