Namco Taiko Blog (7 November 2013) - Sorairo's arcade firmware successor

Even though the Taiko Tournament finals is not over yet, this Thursday is all about new reveals, as the Taiko Team finally unveils the name of the next arcade HDD update.

Pink and stylish! Continuing the trend of adding colors on the arcade's name (thus reducing naming confusion for people like us), December 2013's new firmware uses the name 'Taiko no Tatsujin Momoiro Version', featuring new songs, features and collaboration campaigns (expect Momoiro Clover Z to play a pivotal role in its first few months of installation!).

As usual, all this spectacular stuff will be revealed on a later date. Right now all we have are two teaser images, such as this (a tiled Photoshop filter covering the Don Point meter....wonder what's under it?)

The Donder Hiroba service will temporarily stop from November 17th 2013, preventing users from issuing new challenges and mini-tourneys with friends. The Donder Hiroba website will also be unavailable at all tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a recent tweet from the Taiko Team.
